Press Club, 8 p.m., $5

With elements of dark and new wave, trip-hop, pop and even a little R&B, Sacramento electronic mastermind Young Aundee leaves few genres untouched. Inspired by European pop icons like the Knife’s Karin Dreijer Andersson and Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan, Young Aundee’s approach to music is an amalgam of intricately placed beats and melancholy vocals, tangled with his assiduous methods behind the synth. The electronic soundscapes Aundee creates are both ethereal in nature, yet evoke a heavy pop attitude. A standout original track is “Of a Small Stature” and Aundee’s rendition of “Don’t Turn Around” by Ace of Base—with its chill, island-like beats—also showcases his skills. Portland’s WISHYUNU, a psych duo, is also set to shake things up at this show. 2030 P Street, www.facebook.com/youngaundee.
