Columbia-born artist KAROL G made a scheduled stop at Golden 1 Center this past Tuesday evening on the back leg of her 2022 “$trip Love Tour.” The 30-date tour began in Chicago in September, and continued at a dizzying pace with shows every 2 to 3 days. Only five dates remain before it wraps up in Vancouver on Oct. 29. The $trip Love Tour has garnered enthusiastic reviews from fans who can’t seem to get enough of the Latin trap/reggaeton artist. On this evening, KAROL G entered the Golden 1 Center in a large, barbed wire heart, suspended several stories above the stage. She was gradually lowered to stage level, where she joined a gang of backup singers and dancers, dressed in black leather, high heels, and spikes. The evening’s performance suffered no shortage of sexuality, a theme that has been front-and -enter on the $trip Love Tour.
