Sometimes, there just isn’t enough room in the paper to cover all the great stuff happening in this city.

Take Max Whittaker’s show, for example. The Sacramento-based freelance photojournalist is exhibiting his series, In the Shadow of the Sun at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center now through March 1. He exhibits with Jim Klein, and their photos show a California that doesn’t often get seen.
