A man trying to buy drugs called the cops on Saturday after his purported dealer punched him in the face and sped off with his cash, according to a Sacramento Police Department log.

The victim hailed a police officer shortly after the nondeal went down on the 2400 block of Del Paso Boulevard. The log says the man clung to the suspect’s vehicle as it drove off, which is when the suspect slugged him.

The victim suffered minor injuries from the fall, but wasn’t struck by the fleeing vehicle.
