Festivals taking place over the weekend normally save their strongest lineups for Saturday night, but the 3rd day of GoldenSky Festival was a Sunday not to be missed. Luke Bryan headlined the Jack Daniels stage and brought the heat with a highly visual performance that included an array of pyrotechnics and laser effects.  Bryan recently released his latest album ‘Mind of a Country Boy’ and festival goers got to be some of the first to hear the new music performed live. TikTok phenom Bailey Zimmerman gave a highly energetic performance that drew rounds of applause from his young fans.  Zimmerman’s rock roots were on full display when he grabbed his Flying V guitar and played it alongside his two guitar slinging bandmates, both of whom looked like session players from an 80s hair metal band. Earlier in the evening Grand Ole Opry inductee Ashley McBryde did some guitar slinging of her own. McBryde performed on the festival’s Jack Daniels stage; her appearance part of a scheduled stop on her current US tour. Colbie Caillat left fans pining for summer when she showed up sun-kissed in a summer dress sipping “iced tea”.  Colbie’s performance featured music from her recently released album ‘Along The Way’.
