The second day of GoldenSky Country Music Festival brought some popular names to the stage.  Four time Grammy nominated artist Thomas Rhett headlined the Jack Daniels stage. Rhett performed in front of the largest crowd of the evening and delighted audience members when he invited singer Riley Green to join him on stage. Green performed his own set on the Visit Sacramento stage prior Rhett’s performance and drew cheers from the crowd when he walked on stage making duck noises in reference to his nickname “Duckman”. American Idol alum and country singer Gabby Barrett battled through illness to give her fans a performance they’d been waiting for. Charles Wesley Godwin played a set which included tracks from his latest album, ‘Family Ties’. CMA award winning and five time Grammy nominated artist Hunter Hayes turned out the youth crowd on the Jack Daniels stage. Hayes put his multi-instrumentalist talent on display by wielding different instruments throughout his performance.
