Have you ever looked at your spicy tuna roll and desperately wished it was bigger? Like, burrito-sized?
Surely, the owners of Wrap N’ Roll mused that one over a few times. And soon folks can try them—yes, sushi burritos—in Midtown. The Elk Grove spot will open their second outpost at the former Trey B Cakes location (1801 L Street) on April 1.
The aforementioned fusion burritos go for roughly $7-$9. Among the current options in Elk Grove, Wrap N’ Roll offers a panko shrimp burrito, with imitation crab, guacamole and house aioli; a grilled beef burrito, with pickled daikon and jalapenos; and a sashimi burrito, with raw tuna and salmon, panko shrimp, crispy egg roll skin and avocado. There’s also an array of rice boxes, salads and snacks. The most intense option appears to be the volcano nachos, tortilla chips covered with raw tuna, melted jack cheese, guacamole, edamame, nori and jalapenos.
