Ten Sacramento neighborhood associations co-host candidates forums April 2 and April 9

Ten Sacramento neighborhood and community associations are co-hosting candidates’ forums in April, including for CA Congressional District 7 Candidates on April 2, 2026, 6-7:30pm at the Coloma Center, 4623 T Street, Sacramento. Doors open at 5:30pm and early arrival is recommended.

All certified candidates for CA Congressional District 7 have been invited.  The candidates are: Doris Matsui, Mai Vang, Robby Morin, Enayat Nazhat, Ralph Nwobi, and Zachariah Wooden.The forum will be livestreamed on YouTube. More information is available at www.Elmhurstna.com . The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters.

The April 9, 2026 Sacramento County Supervisorial District 1 forum will also be held at the Coloma Center from 6-7:30pm. Confirmations have been received from all candidates: Dr. Flo Cofer, Eric Guerra, Deborah Ortiz, and Tim Riley.

The ten associations are co-hosting either or both the April 2 Congressional candidates forum and an April 9 Supervisorial District 1 forum. The associations are Elmhurst Neighborhood Association, Boulevard Park Neighborhood Association, East Sacramento Community Associations, Newton Booth Neighborhood Association, Oak Park Neighborhood Association, Pocket Greenhaven Community Association, Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association, South Land Park Neighborhood Association, Southside Park Neighborhood Association, and Tahoe Park Neighborhood Association.
