Latest music and live podcast recording will happen at Legend Has It
The Solving Sacramento journalism collaborative recently explored what it means for the city to get its first hi-fi listening bar, a sonic hub folks are gravitating to called Legend Has It. Reporter Katerina Graziosi wrote a feature on how this development plays into the city’s cultural life, which was published in the digital pages of SN&R and will soon land in print via the “Sac Art Pulse” zine.
This feature on Legend Has It is the zine’s next cover story.
Now, Solving Sacramento is hosting its third Hangout Gigs event at the same venue, bringing the public into the hi-fi fold while recording a live podcast. The evening will also serve as a release for the new issue of “Sac Art Pulse.”
The night features music and conversation as DJ Epik and Vinyl Honey talk with the audience before spinning tracks. Their interview will be conducted by Nick Brunner, the co-host of the podcast “Creativity in the Capital.” After that, the DJs will get the beats bumping. The energy will be captured as part of the Hangout Gigs music video series.
It all goes down Tuesday, Feb. 18 between 6 and 8 p.m. Free copies of the new “Sac Art Pulse” will be on hand. Tickets for the event are here.
Legend Has It is located at 410 L Street in Sacramento.
Solving Sacramento is a local journalism collaborative that includes California Groundbreakers, Capital Public Radio, Outword, Russian America Media, Sacramento Business Journal, Sacramento News & Review, Sacramento Observer and Univision 19.
