No longer must you summon an Uber driver, only to be told that no, you can’t Uber to the airport. And then be charged $5 for wasting their time.
Starting today, Uber is officially allowed to drop off and pick up people at Sacramento International Airport. Uber and the airport signed a special agreement, which you can read more about here. Lyft and other ridesharing companies haven’t signed on yet, but the option is for all.
From Midtown, cabs to the airport are usually $30 while Uber often costs closer to $15.
