Want to hang out in Midtown all day—every Second Saturday throughout the summer? Now you can. This Midtown, the annual summer block-party-style concert series which happens every Second Saturday, just announced a sister event called That Is Midtown (2 p.m. to 9 p.m.)—basically bridging the gap between the Midtown Farmer’s Market (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and the start of This Midtown (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.). All three free events happen outside the MARRS building at 1050 20th Street in Midtown.
That Is Midtown will be hosted by Getta Clue Store and offers live music, games and local vendors, according to a press release sent this morning. Just like This Midtown, That Is Midtown happens every Second Saturday from June through September. The first This Midtown and That Is Midtown of the year both happen June 13. Click here for the June 13 lineup of This Midtown.
Overly confusing names? Probably. We just plan to just get there, hang out, and hopefully it’ll all make sense and kind of blend together seamlessly after a few beers.
