Got talent? Audition for Access Sacramento show at the Crest

How does the chance to perform in the beautiful, historic Crest Theatre sound?

If you’ve got some major skills—singing, dancing, instrument-playing, baton-twirling, hooping, yo-yoing—worth a few minutes on the big stage, consider attending Access Sacramento’s open audition for its third annual Sacramento Has Talent.

The auditions take place Saturday, February 21 on a first-come first-served sign-up beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Access Sacramento TV studio, inside the Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street. If you nab a three-minute time slot, you’ll perform in front of a panel of judges and potentially get called back for a repeat audition at 1 p.m., which will also be a live show on Access Sacramento.

Sacramento Has Talent takes place April 2. Last year, local singer-songwriter Rebecca Peters nabbed one of the open audition slots and performed a cover of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” at the Crest. Now she’s a regular around town, earning her a nomination in the Sammies this year.
