Plan B Cafe now serving French fare at 20th and Capitol

Plan B Cafe, a more casual outpost of the beloved Plan B Restaurant in Arden, opened this week in Midtown.

The cafe is currently serving lunch and will tack on dinner service starting March 3. Its menu includes French classics, such as escargots ($10.95) and French onion soup ($6.95), as well as a variety of tartlettes ($6.95-$7.45), salads ($5.95-$9.25), sandwiches ($8.45-$13.45) and mussels ($13.95). Dinner will feature heartier mains, including trout with almonds and brown butter ($16.95) and NY steak with fries ($22.95).

Plan B aimed to open the cafe last summer, but city permit issues—inevitably—delayed plans.
