Variety show features comedy, music and whatever else can be thrown in

Cross-Pollination

Wednesday, December 11

Ever been to a show at Harlow’s Restaurant & Nightclub, and wondered why a bunch of people were lining up to go upstairs to Momo Lounge? One possible answer: It might have been for Cross-Pollination. This monthly variety show produced by comedian (and, full disclosure, SN&R’s The 420 columnist) Ngaio Bealum features all genres of music, comedy, poetry, dance, juggling and whatever else can be thrown in. It happens the second Wednesday of the month. December’s show features Bealum and Carlos Rodriguez performing comedy—plus musical guests J Krage and the Decliners, Julie the Bruce and Tribe of Levi (pictured).  $5-$8, 8 p.m. at Momo Lounge, 2708 J Street, www.facebook.com/crosspollination916.
