Run outside right now and look at the sky to witness a gorgeous halo around the sun. It’s a called a sun dog.

While Wikipedia says this atomospheric phenomenon is “made commonly by refraction of light from plate-shaped hexagonal ice crystals in high and cold cirrus clouds” blah, blah sciencey stuff, it could be that it is some sort of portal for the apocalypse—have you seen any movie trailer this summer? The end is apparently hella coming.
