Cooler temps continued through the fourth and final day of Aftershock Festival but that didn’t stop Sunday’s lineup of artists from bringing the heat. Alt metal mavens Disturbed drew a massive crowd when they headlined the Shockwave stage. The combination of frontman David Draiman’s unique voice and John Moyer’s on-stage acrobatics provided fans with a thrill ride they won’t soon forget. Former Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello shared the DWP stage with his son Roman and performed a setlist that included RATM material. Flogging Molly gave a highly spirited performance at the Coors Light stage and got the audience dancing on their feet. Christian rock band Skillet dazzled their fans with a combination of cryo cannons, and a dual set of rising platforms that lifted guitarists Korey Cooper and Seth Morrison high above the stage. Eagles of Death Metal grabbed everyone’s attention when singer Jesse Hughes fanned out into the crowd, and bassist Jennie Vee strutted across the stage in her bright red fringed cowgirl jumpsuit. Other noteworthy moments included performances by Falling In Reverse, Seether, and Motley Crue.
