Next week on October 18 thru 20, Danny Wimmer’s GoldenSky Country Music Festival returns to Discovery Park for its 3rd consecutive year. This year promises another great lineup of music, food, and drinks that are guaranteed to get everyone’s boots stomping. The festival will feature more than 35 country music stars performing on 2 different stages. Headlining acts will include Keith Urban, Turnpike Troubadours, Thomas Rhett, Riley Green, Luke Bryan, and Bailey Zimmerman. A full list of bands as well as recently announced artist set times can be found on the GoldenSky mobile app, or the festival’s official website www.goldenskyfestival.com

In addition to the weekend’s live performances, this year’s festival will also see the return of the GoldenSky Beer Festival (the festival within the festival) which will feature a large selection of local and regional craft beer, ciders, and hard seltzers. Tickets for the GoldenSky Beer Festival can be purchased as a separate add-on to festival admission with single day access costing $25 and 3-day access priced at $59.

The GoldenSky Farmhouse will bring together some of Sacramento’s most popular eateries to offer a wide selection of local food favorites to festival attendees. And of course, what country music party would be complete without a little line dancing. The River City Saloon & Dance Hall will offer patrons a venue for line dancing, two-stepping, or whatever groove you’re feeling. The saloon will also be the place to test your inner cowboy (or cowgirl) by seeing how long you can hold on to Billy, the mechanical bull.

For tickets, visit the official website listed above. Limited single day general admission & VIP passes remain, so rustle up your crew and wrangle yours before they sell out!
