The second day of Aftershock 2023 featured an explosive lineup of bands that took turns electrifying fans with fierce performances. Jason Hook set it off with his new band Flat Black. Memphis May Fire started a fire storm with a barrage of pyro effects. Bad Omens and Godsmack kept things burning during each of their sets. John Cooper of Skillet tried to cool things off with a pair of cryo cannons. Coheed and Cambria, and Megadeth gave both main stages a proper thrashing. Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit showed up in a pair of boots and a cowboy hat and took the crowd on a wild ride. Tool played the closing set of the evening and drew nearly 3/4’s of the festival to the Jack Daniel’s stage.
