Second Paul McCartney show added amid technical ticketing difficulties

Those hoping to get a seat at one of Sacramento’s biggest (and most expensive) shows just got a second chance.

A second date for Paul McCartney’s One on One tour was just added for Wednesday, October 5 at the new Golden 1 Center.

McCartney will kick off the new Kings arena’s official launch, of course, with a show the night before–Tuesday, October 4.

Tickets, though, are not for the faint of heart–nor, perhaps, those easily frustrated by technology.

McCartney seats will set you back between about $40 and $250 (and that doesn’t include any fancy-schancy VIP packages).

Users, however, “lucky” enough to snag a presale code via either American Express, the Golden 1 Credit Union or status as a Kings season ticketholder, reported numerous headaches and technological glitches–i.e. the presale codes not actually working.

As of now, however, the codes seem to be doing their thing and seats are still available for those with “available” funds.
