Sister Crayon returns home to open for Built to Spill

It’s been a hot minute since the last time since the members of Sister Crayon played Sacramento.

Now the Los Angeles-by-way-of-Sacramento duo of Dani Fernandez and Terra Lopez will return to open for the iconic ‘90s band Built to Spill.

“We’re excited for it!” Lopez wrote in an email to SN&R.

Us too, girl, us too. Those who follow the band on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram know Fernandez and Lopez always seem to be in the middle of creating something new.  As such, we’re super excited to find out just what the electronic-soul band’s got going on these days.

Luckily we won’t have to wait too long. The show happens Thursday, April 14 at Harlow’s Restaurant & Nightclub (2708 J Street).

Tickets are $30-$35 and available through Ticketfly. and reportedly going fast so don’ t miss out on this one.
