TBD NYE ticket prices go up tonight

As we announced last month, TBD Fest is set to bring Sacramento a totally unprecedented New Year’s Eve party. And you have until 11 p.m. to cash in on early bird tickets.

Organizers Mike Hargis and Clay Nutting describe the event as “TBD Fest meets THIS Midtown.” In other words, an indie electronic dance music-fueled block party on 20th Street between J and K Streets. It goes down rain or shine, with tents, heaters and pop-up bars serving craft cocktails, wine and beer. LowBrau’s included in festivities. And sorry kids, the event is 21 and up.

The lineup is growing daily. A-Trak is the big-deal headliner, but Gigamesh and Oliver are heavy-hitters too. Nick Catchdubs, co-founder of Brooklyn’s iconic indie dance label Fool’s Gold along with A-Trak, and former Sacramento homegirls and TBD Fest alumni Sister Crayon are also on the bill.

Just added today is CHLLNGR, the Denmark-by-way-of-Sacramento producer specializing in stripped-down, atmospheric, R&B-influenced dubstep. San Francisco and Sacramento club deejays DJ Greg J, SAMiJAM and Jurts will start things off.

Early bird general tickets cost $35 and tickets with open bar cost $85, plus service fees. There’s no early discount on VIP tickets, which are still available at $149 plus service fees. Starting Tuesday, Dec. 2, ticket prices jump to $45 for general and $99 for open bar. Nab ‘em here and enjoy more tunes below.
