Justice, Blondie, Empire of the Sun headline TBD Fest

TBD Fest (ya know, Launch) announced its full lineup today, and it’s pretty wild. Acts are flying in from all over the world for the West Sacramento affair going down Oct. 3-5, including headliner Justice—the French electronic dance duo with a cult following in the U.S., even though it rarely performs here.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Blondie and Australian indie-electro duo Empire of the Sun round out the headliners. All of this, on top of what we already knew: Dillon Francis, Explosions in the Sky, The War on Drugs, Yacht, Blackalicious and more.

The dance-worthy, synth-heavy acts continue: funky, soulful electro outfit Gramatik, New York indie-pop duo MS MR, alternative hip hop supergroup Deltron 3030, indie rockers DIIV and even more electro from Goldroom.

Way down on the list, you’ve got some golden talent too. Wildcat! Wildcat! is a rad, indie synth-pop band out of Los Angeles. Brooklyn-based French Horn Rebellion merges funky brass and heavy beats. And of course, some local favorites: Autumn Sky and James Cavern & The Council.
