Less than 10 percent of The4000's pro-arena signature withdrawals were valid

Wow. Only 9.64 percent of Josh Wood and his DowntownArena.org/The4000 groups’ signature withdrawals were valid.

The question now is: Did Wood and DowntownArena.org know they were wasting everyone’s time with more than 90 percent bogus signatures?

It’s reported that the county registrar spent at least three weeks validating these signatures, of which more than 90 percent were invalid, at a cost of tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

The irony is, of course, that it was Wood and his contingent that demanded the county painstaklingy confirm each and every signature submitted by Sacramento Taxpayers Opposed to Pork and Voters for A Fair Deal. You know, to make sure that those groups weren’t pulling a fast one.
