This is a spacious private room in a unique, colorful Bernal Heights home with plenty of street parking! The room opens onto a magical, park-like garden with many terraces where guests can enjoy views of San Francisco, watch the birds, listen to the relaxing sounds of the "WaterContraptions" or just enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine.
This colorful spacious room has both a comfortable queen bed and a comfortable twin bed.
There are two shared bathrooms available to guests, each has a shower and one has a tub. The airy kitchen is fully equipped and available for use by guests.
There is also a nice outdoor living area/chill space just outside your room with a propane heater - a nice place to hang out in the evening.
The garden is also a perfect location for a wedding or a family gathering.
Bernal Heights is a lovely safe, quiet, sunny neighborhood, just south and above the vibrant Latino "Mission" neighborhood.
We are steps away from Bernal Hill Park - a great place for a walk, sunset viewing, star gazing and the best 360 degree view of San Francisco!
A fifteen minute walk will take you to Cortland Street, a lovely shopping street complete with healthy grocery market, unique gift store, yoga, massage, library and art galleries. There you will find a multitude of delicious eating establishments - Japanese, Nepalese, Peruvian, Italian, Mexican, California cuisine, excellent coffee shops and bakeries.
The Alemany Farmers Market on Saturdays and the flea market on Sundays are fun excursions, just a short hike away.
The convenient MUNI 67 bus line stops right across the street and will take you to the 24th Street BART station in five minutes. BART will take you downtown in minutes. MUNI buses connect here to all points in the city including Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park, all museums and city attractions.
STREET PARKING IS REALLY EASY ON OUR STREET!
Ride Sharing platform “Lyft”
If you have a smart phone we suggest getting the app “Lyft". If you enter my code JEANNIE246941 you will receive a $20 credit towards your first ride. If you choose Lyft “Line” it is a shared ride and the $20 credit will probably cover the cost of the ride.
