Job Description:/h3:
Senior Construction Inspector (Folsom) Construction management, inspection, civil engineering, storm water and land surveying firm is seeking a senior inspector. Minimum 5 years experience for Transportation projects. Must have QSP. Experience with Caltrans standards required, and those of local agencies in the Sacramento region preferred. Type of infrastructure to be inspected includes Caltrans facilities, roadways, curb, gutter, sidewalk, underground utilities, earthwork, etc.. Primary Duties: Provide daily inspections and complete documentation including daily reports, project photographs, etc. Coordinate with clients/owners, other consultants, contractors, materials testers and others involved with the project. Assist Resident Engineer and provide input on project schedule, potential change orders, and communication with businesses and residents. Excellent
documentation/communication skills required.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years construction inspection experience, High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred), excellent communication skills, working knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to use computer to complete project documentation.
