Job DescriptionThis is a permanent full time outside sales position. You will be driving to different locations throughout your assigned territory. In this role, the individual will be responsible for selling maintenance agreements. These agreements will be for parts and service; in servicing heavy equipment. You must have a clean driving record in order to drive company vehicle.Description in detail: Use systematic planning and prospecting to generate sales leads. Conduct equipment inspections to identify appropriate repairs. Conduct daily cold calls to generate leads / sales appointments. Conduct daily job site visits to generate leads / sales appointments. Conduct daily sales presentations and demonstrations in order to create brand awareness. Identify your territory and create an effective marketing campaign. Create and promote brand awareness in your territory. Enter your activities into the CRM on a daily basis.Educational/Experience Requirements: Applicants must have at least 3 years of outside sales experience, prior experience in heavy equipment sales is a plus. Must have Product Support Sales experience Must be able to analyze and bid jobs Service or Parts experience at Komatsu, Caterpillar or other dealer preferred. Must have sales skills to effectively help the client to overcome objections and close the sale Must be a motivated self-starter. Must be able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics Valid State Drivers License and acceptable driving record. Must be able to travel on a regular basis to include overnight stays. Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen. ADMINISTRATIVE/COMPUTER SKILLS: This position requires daily proficient use of a company-provided personal computer. Incumbent will be trained in and must be capable of using the Road Machinery eXtend software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook for email required. Thorough understanding of MS Excel, knowing how to manipulate spreadsheets.Work Environment: Sales environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt and noise. Field environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt. Office environment. When visiting the corporate office, business professional appearance at all times.Base plus commission, and business expense reimbursement.
