Located in Folsom California, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Micron is one of the worlds largest memory company We are currently looking to hire an experienced product engineer for the Non Volatile Product Engineering team. The product engineer will be responsible for developing, validating, characterizing, and qualifying new non:volatile memory products, enabling volume manufacturing, and coordinating test and analysis resources over the lifecycle of the product. The products could consist of 3D NAND memory and emerging memories. The job responsibilities would include (but not limited to)
: Pre:silicon design simulations, pre silicon validation and post silicon validation for the product.
: Executing the plans defined above, on Silicon (using microprobe, ATE, etc.)
: Drive all technical aspects for tests owned, resolve issues, communicate ideas clearly and contribute to the success of the product.
Additional responsibilities include aiding circuit design fixes, yield improvement, data analysis, DFT proposal, failure analysis, qualification, and establishment of manufacturability prior to product ramp.
Position requires extensive interface and partnership with Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Design, Reliability, and Manufacturing groups. Cross site work and collaboration will be expected.
Working knowledge of circuit debug, simulation and validation is required.
Semiconductor device physics knowledge is required.
Must be self:motivated, have good written and verbal communication skills, work well in a collaborative team environment with multiple sites, and have the ability to travel overseas.
Expertise in test methodologies, design for test, identifying/fixing design bugs, and Verilog.
Reasonable familiarity with ATEs and their usage, C++, Perl, Statistics and Failure analysis.
Position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree (and preferably a Master's degree) in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3 years of experience.
