Cannabis genomics will help drive sustainable productivity and offer solutions to ensure safe, consistent and effective breeding of cannabis. MGC was the first company to sequence the cannabis genome; our unique knowledge of cannabis and microbial genetics has enabled us to develop solutions that are revolutionary steps forward in addressing the primary unmet needs of medicinal cannabis cultivators and quality control laboratories. Due to growth we are looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team.

What Is the Job?
• You will target and close accounts. You will generate new business, as well as maintain relationships with our existing clients. This will require you to establish and maintain relationships with growers, dispensaries and cannabis testing laboratories to introduce quality, safety, and gender testing products and services. You will oversee product installations and service launches run efficiently. You will also compile and analyze current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and services, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• You must be willing to travel, how much will depend on how you choose to arrange your schedule; at times you may travel more or less. You will be expected to hit your sales goals – we hope you will exceed them. The more you sell, the more money you will make; compensation for sales is only limited to your level of desire to succeed.

Who are you?
• You are ambitious and confident and well connected in the cannabis industry. You are self-motivated and results oriented. You have the ability to establish a rapport with customers. You are optimistic by nature. You have proven results with prior sales and marketing experiences. You are over the age 21, have a valid driver’s license and working vehicle.
• You will maintain your professional knowledge by attending cannabis industry educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; attending cannabis industry networking events; staying up to date on legislation.
• You will work closely with the home office located just outside of Boston through submitting meeting reports, activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analyses pipeline reports.
