In this role, you will be joining Global Supply Management Organization.

Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

  • Converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to BOM risk assessment, inventory health/optimization streamlined/reliable supply chain and total cost to business.
  • Coordinates and monitors the acquisition of materials in support of NPI programs/projects and ramp readiness.
  • Executes contractual requirements as well as meets with suppliers to discuss performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies.
  • Must work closely in collaboration with Program Mgrs, Design Engineers, Commodity Management, and Factory Manufacturing Teams to define customer demand and early raw materials requirements, influence supplier and component selections, and driving planning and procurement activities.
  • MPM to provide assessments/status to all stakeholders including multiple management levels, establish contingency and gap closure plans, and monitor & track program indicators.
  • Must use judgment in data analysis to develop and design solutions for complex processes.

    The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Customer oriented, understand/follow purchasing polices as well as understand/apply good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interface with multiple management levels and tailor messages accordingly while understanding impact of decisions on other organizations.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced, team environment.
  • Should assume responsibility and be proactive in taking initiative to address issues, set direction, and meet commitments.


Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Must have a BS in Business or Engineering with minimum of 7+ year’s applicable supply chain/manufacturing management experience or 5+ years with MBA.
  • Must have a legal or permanent right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
  • Experience in the position of Materials Program Manager MPM, Procurement, Commodity management, or Planning.
  • Understanding of both product design engineering and commodity management or priorities for raw material or component selection
  • Ability to integrate the delivery schedule of materials into product program milestones

    Preferred Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning preferred mSAP* and Bill of Material Structure tools preferred SPEED*-
  • Proficiency in Excel*, Word*, and Power Point*
  • APICS certification.
