We are currently seeking candidates for a Print Shop Manager : Color role who will direct their department to succeed in quality and service by hiring, training, and managing team members, maintain the facilitys readiness and ability to provide top customer service, technology and deliver a quality product by performing the following duties:
* Oversee production and quality output on the flatbed, latex and inkjet color printers.
* Hire, train and evaluate personnel.
* Maintain personnel and equipments readiness to deliver a quality product.
* Maintain a high level of branch organization at all times.
* Respond to clients in a professional and ethical business manner.
* Fiscal and operational responsibility for daily branch operations.
* Manage branch activities within agreed budgets and timescales.
* Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities.
* Maintain appropriate inventory controls.
* Manage cash sales reporting and submissions.
* Manage the branch within company policies and standards.
* Develop tools to accurately track errors and deadline compliance.
* Track machine clicks to maintain maximum cost efficiency.
* QC outgoing orders. Monitor order:in, operators, quality control, final check and orders:out.
* Monitor equipment and supplies.
* Submit all branch reporting on time.
* Maintain a professional, quality work environment at all times.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problematic orders and customer complaints.
Recommended Skills
* Strong comprehension of small format, large format, and color production processes.
* Ability to
assess/troubleshoot customer software and hard copy orders for production problems or issues.
* Excellent customer service and employee managing skills.
* Effectively promote ARC products and services.
* Strong competency with Word and other proprietary software; Planwell is a plus.
* Work effectively with internal and external customers.
* Ability to multi:task while maintaining quality and accuracy.
* Friendly personality and good attitude.
* Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Required Experience
:College degree (2:year or 4:year)
:Computer and software knowledge
:3 years experience managing or owning a print shop or printing facility
:2 years of supervisory experience
Must have printing experience and supervisory experience
Compensation also includes an additional bonus plan
2000 signing bonus after 90 days
