Job Description:/h3:
This position Is responsible for:
Harness the organizations knowledge and resources to produce sales forecasts to be used in Sales and Operations Planning (SnOP).
Continuously improve sales forecasting processes and systems, ensuring forecast accuracy.
Develop and manage rules for order acceptance and forecast consumption.
Work with other departments including Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure consistent, cost:effective supply of products to Customers.
The position must meet 100 on time delivery for all customer orders while driving continuous improvement in efficiency and in managing FG inventory levels. The position will work closely with the key Saxco and Vendor associates to ensure all capacity and components are available when required.

Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Develop the Dynamics AX production management capability
Use the sophistication of the ERP to optimize packaging operations. Work centers (packaging lines) need to be fully configured in the system to allow accurate loading of capacity.
Develop reporting and analysis to utilize inventory as efficiently as possible.
In one segment of the business, customers place long term orders but know they will have to change either the delivery date or quantity needed. The system has to provide timely notices of modifications needed to production orders and inventory reservations.
Develop Dynamics AX capabilities to manage SnOP and DnOP.
Prepare background information to support sales forecasting
Collect and collate market and Customer intelligence, make it available to all team members involved in forecasting
Analyze sales trends and identify key drivers of sales for key products and product groups.
Develop statistical forecasts
Develop statistical forecast models.
Gather, analyze and validate data to be used in preparing statistical forecasts.
Prepare statistical forecasts for use in sales forecasting.
Sense:check statistical forecasts and high:light any unexpected trends or forecasts.
Develop rules and methods for prioritizing forecasts:based on business priority and forecasters ability to improve forecast accuracy.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to integrate market intelligence.
Work with sales and marketing to ensure their market and Customer knowledge and plans are reflected in all models.
Prepare and support Forecast Review process.
Prepare reports and data to be used in the forecast review process:part of SnOP.
Implement any forecast changes resulting from forecast review.
Follow:up with all participants to ensure actions agreed upon in forecast reviews are completed in a timely manner.
Measure and report forecast and SnOP accuracy
Develop and reach agreement on appropriate metrics of forecast and SnOP accuracy and bias.
Prepare and publish regular metric reports.
Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead root:cause analysis into major forecast variances.
Review past forecasting/SnOP performance and identify major variances
Lead root:cause analysis initiatives and formulate actions and plans to ensure issue does not re:occur.
Lead initiatives to improve forecast/SnOP accuracy:
Identify and led implementation of opportunities to improve forecast and SnOP accuracy. These could include collaboration with customers and channel partners and effective use of end:customer sales data.
Develop guidelines for consuming forecasts and accepting orders.
Establish a set of guidelines for consuming forecasts and for accepting orders from Customers for forecasted and un:forecasted demand.
Monitor application of guidelines and identify opportunities for improvements.
Work with Product Development team to forecast sales of new products.
Monitor sales performance of new items and develop a history to be used as a guide in future la
