Job Description:/h3:
:Provide support in areas of 401(k), payroll, workers compensation, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA record keeping
:Comply with provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, SOX, ERISA, and oversee mandated reporting to appropriate agencies
:Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
:Assist in the preparation of records and administration of benefit programs such as life, health, dental, disability insurance, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, employee assistance, personnel changes such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
:Maintain employee confidence and protect operations in keeping all data confidential
:Provide backup assistance for payroll processing and timekeeping and attendance programs
:Develop and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to assist in recruiting
:Develop, coordinate and write job postings for internal and external media advertising
:Assist in screening of applications; interviewing; obtaining work history, education, salary requirements, reference and background checks; and testing of applicants
:Plan and conduct training and orientation covering company policies, benefits, safety, and sexual harassment training for new employees
:Assist in administration of performance improvement plans, performance review program, and discipline process
:Investigate employee complaints, assist with counseling, and recommend action on employee relation matters
:Conduct exit interviews, report, track, and analyze trends in turnover and absenteeism
:Process and verify unemployment insurance claims and participate in personnel:related hearings as necessary
:Assist in identifying staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills to draft new job descriptions and review and edit existing job descriptions
:Perform annual review and research of local market rates, report, and provide recommendations
:Reconcile monthly billing and invoices for group benefits and resolve any conflicts

functions.Education and/or Experience
:Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four:year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR preferred.
:Proficient in Human Resource Systems, payroll systems, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and
publishing/graphics software
:Effective multi:tasking skills
:Proven leadership abilities, showing initiative and ownership of
assignments/projects
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:Relates well and exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and maintains a constructive working relationship
:Prompt, thorough, and accurate with all assignments
