Job Requirements SummaryAt least 10 years of experience in leading FW/SW development/validation teams to validate and release large scale software products. The candidate must have strong background in computer architecture, design/implementations, validation coverage, optimizing coverage based on available platforms simulation/emulation/silicon, random/directed validation strategies to achieve optimized black/gray box validation, driving observability/controllability requirements to achieve desired coverage in SW/Si, managing project execution, low power concepts and power saving features, performance validation and triage, agile development/validation methodologies, resource/budget management h/c, BTI, capital. Understanding of IA based computer systems PC/Servers, I/O connect technologies in particular PCIe, sideband communication over aux buses such as SMBus or I2C, cache memory concepts, DRAM operation, NAND flash operation, programming languages etc. Must have experience managing/leading teams - align execution to vision, inspire teams to go above and beyond, excellent communication skills, positive influence and interactions with peer organizations, presentations to executive management, setting a high bar on excellence and performance management, supporting employee growth.

Job DescriptionThis senior leader will lead a FW validation team to work on next generation SSDs targeted at the NVMe/PCIe/SATA/SAS storage market, which is one of the fastest growing segments in enterprise SSDs. Lead a team of software/FW professionals including but not limited to engineers, validation architects, technicians, technical writers and technical consultants who are responsible for delivering results over multiple products. Driving reuse on validation plans, tests, tools, methodologies to optimize coverage for a multi product roadmap. Continuous improvements in test coverage based on escape analysis. Build a strong culture of ownership, accountability, results orientation.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
