Job Description Our company is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager available to generate high quality leads for our energy efficiency, water conservation and renewable energy programs. This position reports directly to Solar Heating & Air Experts executive management. As our company continues to grow; we strive to employ high energy and positive individuals capable of prospecting clients that will convert to net-profitable business transactions for Solar Heating & Air Experts. Business Development Manager Requirements: Prospect and contact potential customers to complete surveys. Create onsite dispositions and report feedback to management throughout the day. Create follow-up appointments in a calendar for the sales team. Reach agreed upon lead generation targets by the deadline. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints. Business Development Manager Performance Criteria: Each Business Development team (1 Business Development Manager and 4 Lead Generation Specialist) will produce around 400 warm leads per month. About 25% of those leads will schedule appointment with the Installer – around 100 appointments per month from the whole Business Development team. Out of 100 scheduled appointments, about 10% installation deals (10) could be closed. Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist will be compensated based on verified hourly performance and recorded onsite dispositions. Compensation: Business Development Manager: $13.50/hour, 7 hours/day (up to: $94.50/day) Lead Generation Specialist: $11.75/hour, 6 hours/day (up to $70.5/day) Appointment bonus: $20 bonus for every completed appointment. Appointment bonus: $100 bonus if Lead Generation Specialist’s leads result in 5 completed appointments within a week. Payment is twice a month. Solar Heating & Air Experts will NOT reimburse the following:: Pay for missed hours of work such as sick days or vacation time. Additional sales bonus or commission agreed upon between the Installer and Canvasser (if any). Evaluation and Termination Canvassers Business Development Manager shall conduct business and regulate operations in a way that will maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of all. Any violation in this regard, may constitute a ground for termination of this Agreement. Solar Heating & Air Experts will review the progress of this program with the Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist every day and will notify Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist in writing if the result is not satisfactory. Solar Heating & Air Experts reserves the right to stop reimbursing the Canvassers’ pay at any time if: A Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist is not fulfilling his/her job requirements as expected by Solar Heating & Air Experts. A Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist does not collect a satisfactory number of leads. A Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist is not using the Solar Heating & Air Experts approved app consistently throughout the day. A Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist is collecting leads but is not updating lead information onsite or in front of the property in the Solar Heating & Air Experts approved app. The Business Development Manager/Lead Generation Specialist are not providing accurate information to Solar Heating & Air Experts. Any misconduct, unlawful/unethical behavior, or violations of this agreement on the part of the approved have occurred. Qualifications : Prior experience supporting a sales team preferred (not required) Exceptional oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask with extreme attention to detail Highly organized and team player Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields. Familiarity with Zoho CRM platforms. Ability to build rapport with clients. Strong negotiation skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Company Description Come join "A New Energy Revolution!"
