Job Summary
Progressive educational agency is looking for a Web Application / .NET developer to enable custom web applications with responsive design. You will work on all three tiers of development (user interface, business logic and database). You would be part of an enthusiastic team with a strong commitment to improve online services for educators and students
:From inception to implementation, design, develop and test custom web applications using ASP.NET MVC 5 in C, database system with SQL Server 2012 back:end and HTML5/responsive design front:end.
:Develop code for user interface and business logic.
:Develop schema and stored procedures for SQL Server.
:Ensure coding standards and best practices utilizes World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) programming standards to address accessibility guidelines.
Required skills:
:5+ years programming experience
:Proficiency with HTML, ASP.NET, C, Model:View:Controller (MVC 5), Bootstrap, web services and MS SQL Server.
:Deep understanding of front:end web development and back:end database optimization
:Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills
:Fluent in accessible, cross:browser, responsive web design
:Implements security protocols to mitigate vulnerabilities (e.g. cross:site scripting, SQL injection)
:Ability to translate complex business requirements into a scalable application.
:Prepare database design specifications and visual prototypes.
