Location: Rancho Cordova, CA NEC Corporation of America is an industry leader in supplying biometrics enabled products and solutions to public and enterprise markets. We are looking for an experienced software architect with experience in customized application development for public and enterprise markets in both public safety and public convenience technology domains. This is an opportunity to deliver innovative biometrics enabled solutions to global market. We are looking for individuals with integration background, and is willing to execute multiple projects concurrently. Individuals with ability to interact with solution engineers, customers, gather/analyze requirements, and work closely with cross functional teams to deliver projects are encouraged to apply. Industry-specific knowledge and experience in Automated Fingerprint or Multi-modal Identification Solutions (AFIS or ABIS or MBIS), transactional systems, workflows, digital archive, fingerprint, iris and facial identification solutions, multi-modal biometrics solutions, IoT and federated solutions is preferred. Qualifications and responsibilities: 5 to 10+ years of experience in successive career progress from development to software architect Expertise in software and application design and architecture. Knowledge of UML and other modeling methods Experience in delivering quality IT solutions by providing a framework for developers and cross functional teams Technical expertise in Java/J2EE, .NET, C++,C#, Jboss, JBPM, Apache, Oracle, MS SQL, and related technologies.
