Description ResponsibilitiesThe Privacy Analyst will report to the Information Security Officer and Privacy OfficerPerforms ongoing activities to monitor compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, contractual obligations, individual privacy rights, and federal and state privacy and security regulations.Works collaboratively with the Security Office in developing, implementing and evaluating program objectives and requirements. Makes recommendations to improve monitoring and compliance with privacy and security policies and best practices.Creates or updates privacy/security policies, procedures, and training materials.Tracks and monitors training compliance requirements and initiates communications as needed.Assists in developing and implementing privacy and security awareness campaigns and communicationsReceives complaints and incident reports, tracks and participates in the investigations, prepares reports, findings and recommendations.Works with management to identify privacy risks, trends, vulnerabilities, and researches solutions for risk mitigationsKnowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules, the HITECH Act, NIST, the Privacy Act and other applicable regulations and lawsPerforms duties as assignedQualifications and experienceBachelor's degree required.4 years of experience with increasing responsibility in an administrative, financial or clinical position in a health care system.Minimum of 2 years of working experience in one or more areas of healthcare, compliance, legal, Information Security & Privacy; 5 years preferred.Professional certification in healthcare Information Security & Privacy is a plus (HCISPP, CHPS, CHPC, CIPP or similar).Knowledge of information technology, health care applications, and data security program implementation techniques and procedures.Knowledge of HIPAA, Title 22, NIST, and ISO 270002 standards.Knowledge of privacy program implementation techniques and proceduresKnowledge in privacy laws, access, release of information, and release control technologiesUnderstanding of incident response and proceduresTraining development and delivery experience desiredUnderstanding of PII and PHIExcellent analytical, oral and written communication skills Conduent is the world's largest provider of diversified business process services with leading capabilities in transaction processing, automation, analytics and constituent experience.
