Assist with functional administration of the integrated ITSM tool: perform core configuration tasks; work with user interface (UI) policies, data policies, UI actions, business rules and client scripts; add users, groups and roles; manage data with tables, the configuration management database (CMDB), import sets, and update sets; work with two-key process applications such as Knowledge Base and ServiceNow Service Catalog; create workflow activities and approvals; configure alerts and notifications; view upgrade history and status; control system access and data security; create baseline performance metrics; run reports, configure service level agreements and perform customization; and integrate social IT elements and learn best practices. Conduct requirements gathering sessions to assist ITSB customers in identifying and defining their business needs and requirements for the ITSM tool. Participate in regular Stakeholder meetings to discuss upcoming changes and issues to the ITSM tool to ensure adherence to CalPERS governance standards. Review proposed changes to the ITSM tool and provides feedback for approval or denial of changes. Assist with facilitating patches, updates, and configuration changes to the ITSM tool. Answer and respond to technical queries and assist users.Serve as a project lead on projects associated with SDMU. Independently develop, manage, and execute SDAMS project plans. Ensure that appropriate resources, project timelines, task dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and a communication plan are met. Provide management status and progress reports. Participate as a Subject Matter Expert on complex IT projects that include collaborating with cross-functional project teams.Develop, coordinate, facilitate, and conduct instructor-led training presentations and manuals for users of the ITSM tool and integrated IT modules such as Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Problem Management, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based processes.
