Job Description
The Training Coordinator: Executive Assistant drives all training and event activities across all regions for the Division. Additionally, the position is responsible for travel coordination, complete facilitation of factory tours, and provides administrative support for the VP and General Manager of the Division.
Training and Event Management
1. Manage the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
2. Consult with Marvin Division managers, supervisors and sales teams to assess training needs.
3. Deliver events and trainings on time, within budget, that meet customers needs and expectations.
4. Drive attendance to trainings, tours and events through traditional and non:traditional marketing efforts
5. Administer Marvin Division training events at BMD facilities and offsite facilities
6. Collaborate with subject experts and trainers regarding instructional design and content
7. Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
8. Design and prepare educational aids and materials
9. Coordinate and facilitate onboarding schedules for new employees
10. Maintains inventory of projectors, computers, display materials and training collateral
11. Analyze event performance and prepare and communicate ROI metrics
Factory Tours and Travel
1. Manage all aspects of factory tours, including planning, travel arrangements, communication
2. Manage, coordinate and communicate details of events such as conferences, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings, trainings and factory tours
3. Arrange travel and accommodation for employees, customers and company guests
4. Research, negotiate and secure rates that optimize company travel and accommodation expenditures
Executive Assistant
1. Document policy and procedures for the Marvin Division trainings, events, shows and factory tours.
2. Prepare reports, collect and analyze information and financial data, organize calendars and facilitate communication Represent the Company and actively participate at industry and community events and meetings, and in professional and trade organizations
3. Perform additional duties as required and requested
