MGO Strategic Staffing is looking for a Finance Assistant for our client in San Carlos, CA. This is a 6 month contract position with a pay rate of $21.25 hr. In this position, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for the collection and processing of routine accounting transactions. The primary duties include archiving historical invoices accurately to the on-line system, saving documents, and returning hard copies to the permanent hard copy files, data entry,


Generate information reports on PeopleSoft Accounts Payable System to obtain a list of AP transactions
Obtain copies of the original payment either on-line or hard copy
Copy/scan additional accounting documents and file to the on-line system
Refile documents to the permanent files.
Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a safe manner to protect yourself, fellow employees and the public from injury or harm.
Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures in an effort to reduce or eliminate accidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Two years full-time accounts payable experience or a combination of education in accounting fields
Proficient in the use of spreadsheet and word processing applications.
10-key by touch.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft accounting products desirable.
