SBM Management is looking for a highly:skilled Corporate Controller to join our management team. Directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs.Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.Provides management with timely reviews of organizations financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.Directs determination of depreciation rates to capital assets.Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.Arranges for audits of companys accounts.Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.Establishes relations with banks and other financial institutions. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages two subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 10+ employees in the Payroll and AP. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises one non:supervisory employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Masters degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.Available Shift: Full Time, Monday : Friday Compensation: DOE
