SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Controller, Revenue and Accounts Receivable to join their team at their corporate office in McClellan, CA. This position directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Focuses on revenue and accounts receivable activities.Trains, schedules, assigns, and reviews work of staff.Responsible for producing, reporting and management of KPIA?s on a weekly and monthly basis.Responsible for preparation of a weekly cash flow forecast with the VP Accounting and Finance.Perform contract review of customer agreements and use information to ensure accuracy of billings.Coordinates the billing functions of each location by communicating regularly with each sites billing coordinators.Resolves issues arising from actions or events involving administrative functions throughout the billing cycle.Coordinates and resolves sales tax issues.Responsible for communication of revenue, billing and collections issues to both SBM Senior Leadership and its customers.Develops and pursues collection strategies and drive collections efforts to resolution.Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective municates and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, vendors, reporting agencies, clients, customers, and the public.Supervisory Responsibilities Manages 3+ subordinate employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.BachelorA?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from a four year college or university; four to six years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) highly desired.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
